SUSTAINABLE THERMAL ADVANCED COOLING
STAC is a Research and Development Company with a technology platform offering
Sustainable Thermal Advanced Cooling Systems using water as the refrigerant. Forty + years of development is behind STAC's IP and our unique breakthrough platform offering water (R718) based technology to industries wanting to go "green".
Founded in Denmark in September 2016, our founders Paul Christoffersen and Henrik Schiøtt Sørensen made it their goal to disrupt an antiquated cooling industry causing environmental harm with more sustainable technology solutions based on water-as-the-refrigerant.
The story started five decades earlier, with Gunnar Minds and the Danish Technological Institute whom are now regarded as the pioneers of our industry. STAC's team and our partners represent the longest and most comprehensive know-how of using water-as-the-refrigerant.
STAC Technology is continuously working to set and improve industry standards towards better solutions.
Our vision remains strong and undiluted, and we hope to keep empowering our users through our offerings.
STAC's goal is to help reduce carbon emissions on a massive giga ton scale. By making STAC's Technology available to leading industrial companies, we enable them to rapidly replace the use of synthetic refrigerants using water for cooling and heating solutions, resulting in a world with clean efficient, cost effective and accessible energy.
STAC aims to accelerate the shift to widespread use of water as refrigerant, contributing to phasing out environmentally harmful synthetics. We partner with industry leaders to push boundaries of what’s possible and do everything we can, to reduce emissions and create a positive impact for people and planet.
